"Take the Next Step"

This is the theme for our church in 2010. It's so easy to become complacent in our Christian life and walk with the Lord. This year at Capital City we want to encourage you to do more for the Lord. Whether it is in your Bible reading, or prayer, or service, or faithfulness, or whatever the area(s) may be, make an effort to do as much as you can for the Lord. The great Missionary William Carey once said, "Expect great things from God, attempt great things for God.”

We are delighted to have you visit our church website. It is my great privilege to serve as the pastor of the Capital City Baptist Church. Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them. The purpose of our church is to glorify God in all that we do.
